You don’t have to feel overwhelmed if you ride an enduro motorcycle. In 1913, the first Enduro motorcycles were introduced at the International Six Day Trial in Carlisle (England). They are still loved by riders more than 100 years after their invention.

Honda CRF450RL

Building a great dual-sport bike has to be one of the most challenging jobs in motorcycling but also one of the most rewarding. And that’s why we’re so proud of our Honda CRF450RL.

About versatility and features, it’s way better than just a motocrosser with a license plate. And when it comes to off-road riding, it offers stellar performance where others compromise.

Why is this bike so good? One cause is that we start with Honda CRF450X, its six-speed transmission system and ideal chassis geometry.

And it’s not what we’ve added but what we haven’t—how we’ve kept the Honda CRF450RL light and smart.

What you get is a true dirt motorcycle that can handle a wide range of terrain, that’s built for long-term reliability, and that lets you ride just about any trail or landscape a motorcycle can handle—including pavement, which makes finding fuel (or lunch) a lot more comfortable. So, ditch the pickup or the trailer: discover the world on a Honda CRF450RL.

Zero FX

The Zero FX is more to the dual sport side of the dirt world, but it is definitely capable of being a competent Enduro machine. The Zero FX has two specs, 3.6 kWh and 7.2 kWh.

I would select the 7.2 battery, which has a range of 91 miles and a curb weight of 289 lbs. There is plenty about switching to a Zero that will be new, but professional riders will adapt quickly.

First off, there is no clutch. You have one gear and a regular power progression as you twist the throttle. Second, there is huge torque. With 78 ft-lb peak torque available instantly, this Zero FX bike can easily pull you out of all situations.

Lastly, it is so quiet. You will hear just the belt turning and the wheels over the ground. At first, it is bizarre, but then it quickly becomes great.
