Yamaha YZ85LW motorcycle is equipped with an 85cc liquid-cooled; the two-stroke engine features the Yamaha Power Valve System for improved low- and mid-range power without losing peak power at high rpms—improving rideability and reducing the requirement for frequent shifting.

The new Yamaha YZ85LW (Large Wheel) model raises the bar for off-road capability with a larger 19-inch front wheel and 16-inch rear wheel clad in high performance 70/100/19 front and 90/100/16 rear Dunlop MX3S tires. Ideal for the advanced 85cc rider looking for a more “big-bike” feel.

Yamaha YZ85LW fitted with a Stylish blue, lightweight 19-inch front and 16-inch rear rims are durable, reduce unsprung weight for optimal suspension performance, and come wrapped in Dunlop MX3S tires for excellent traction. Yamaha YZ85LW Big 220mm and 190mm disc brakes deliver accurate control and one-finger stopping power.

The new YZ85 has been enhanced in several key chassis areas for demanding junior racers to optimize strength, rigidity, and overall handling stability. Enhancements include the mainframe, swingarm and rear wheel axle. The aluminum swingarm was redesigned to refine longitudinal and torsional rigidity balance. A new removable rear subframe made from lightweight, high-strength aluminum reduces weight.

A new flatter seat and more narrow fuel tank design, along with smoothly designed body panels and slimmer shroud width, combine to enable more excellent freedom of movement forward and back, allowing the rider to shift body weight for increased control and confidence quickly.

External compression and rebound damping adjustability, Lightweight 36mm KYB® inverted cartridge fork features low-friction outer tubes, paired with a race-proven fully-adjustable KYB® rear shock. Both offer loads of suspension travel to tackle severe off-road competition.

Yamaha YZ85LW’s updated intake design allows for a straighter, more efficient air drawn into the intake tract.

New rear brake master cylinder design has a built-in sub-reservoir to deliver more linear brake response and improved control.
